I have a base vibe with moon&tunes and the pwr group and was just wondering why that light blinks when my car is off and I am out of it?I would look it up in the manual but cant seem to find it.

That's the security light for the stereo. The stereo system has its own security system that will render the stereo useless if it's removed or if power is removed. Unless you have the security code to that unit. Here's another post with a little more info... http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=386

quote:I hate that thing. Do you really think someone is going to steal a stocker radio? Do you think if they actually want one, that a binking red light will stop them? I think not.The pass-code security is easy to get by too, but I will not say how..hehe You are probably right, but hey, it's a deterrent to other amateurs who might think otherwise by this feature. Hey, you never know. If it thwarts one person from thinking about ganking your stereo, it is worth it.
