There is a story here on a local Trix site that talks about Psychovibe and Street Graffiti. Looks like they didn't even make the kit themselves for their own Vibe, so to speak, but were given a Vibe to play with just for promotional purposes. Must be why he disappeared shortly after the sale of the kits. Just thought some might be interested.http://matrixrides.com/local-c....html

That is a good find, although I new that the kit was made by AEROGEAR but was only available through Street-Graffiti. That would also explain the Foxmarketing Vibe that was around for a while. He got his car for like a buck and was asked to make some major mods to it. This is what GM probably did with a couple of Vibes maybe even that ugly green one that is fling around!!

But the original kit did come from Street-Graffiti. If you look at the pictures, the original kit on Psychovibes(Chris) car looks 100x better than the kit that ended up being produced and sold through Aerogear.

Oops, my bad I thought it was the other way around, but if you take notice to the post from Foxmarketing on his body kit for the 05 it looks like he got the same chance from GM to help them with this car. But I'm not sure who made his kit and I don't think his even made it to production. He hasn't listed on here since way back!!

It was too close to the OEM kit to go into production anyways. The Street-Graffiti kit was more aggressive and different.

Quote »â€œThe Pontiac management saw the pictures from the car show and said ‘I don’t know who that is, but we want it and we want it now,’ †recalled Dawn Roper. Funny how Pontiac management really does nothing for us when it comes to the Vibe, but gets all excited when someone else does... doesn't make sense to me.Interesting article though.

Good article... too bad we don't see a lot of aftermarket stuff pop up for the Vibe. I guess there are just way too many "older" people that drive them. Nearly everyone I see around me... some old fogey is driving it.

Don't let visions of body kits cloud your minds, kids! But hey, that corporate-sponsored Vibe that was given to someone to play around with ended up being chosen as VOTM at one point. heh

When I clicked the link to read the article I got a "Custom car stereos sound like big bucks" article. This can't be right? As far as the 'Street Grafitti' goes I may as well put in my 2 cents and tell my experience...I had found out about Street Grafitti through a link off GenVibe (I believe somewhere in the forums) - sure thing I see their Vibe made it to the VOTM. Gotta' be good reputable guys to buy from right?I called them up (this was back in December) very interested in getting nearly everything they had available for me. Although I was hesitant about spending so much $$ on something that may not possibly be what it seems, or find myself ripping it off on some bad streets - or dealing with the hassle of not being able to ride on gravel ever again, or even think about taking it out on inch of snow, I was determined to get it.The lady on the phone (said her name was Dawn) told me it was 'her' car, she had no problems bottoming out, or scraping it, she informed me that 'her' Vibe was indeed lowered - and if I don't lower my Vibe I will have enough clearance with the kit on, to drive around like it wasn't even there.I told her my location and asked for her to get back to me a.s.a.p and I would be giving her my credit card number - after 2 weeks and not hearing back I wrote them an e-mail kindly reminding them of what we had discussed... Still no response...Now we are into mid-February and I still haven't heard back and have not made an attempt to call them back. Obviously not to keen on selling many of these - I had the $$ and I was willing and ready to get it shipped, no luck. Not the business I wanted to deal with.It may have been a mis-understanding, or they may have completly forgotten about me being so interested in their business and what they could offer me. I just say have some pride in your work, promote your stuff, and for heavens sake, when someone wants to buy it, atleast pretend your interested in them as a customer.

Gotta' be good reputable guys to buy from right?well, not really. Vibe of the Month is a monthly feature where members nominate Vibes that tend to stand out, usually due to modifications done by the owner. Lots of people (other than me) wanted body kits for their Vibe, the one that won was the first here with a such a mod. It made VOTM because it was a cool looking car, but that VOTM should have given that parts manufacturer no added credibility as a responsible seller. It is good that you were able to find out that the company is unresponsive before you gave them any money
