Thanks for the heads up! To summarize the very active thread, TRD is predicting 11 hp, 9 lb-ft of torque. Its not clear yet if its a true CAI or not.Now we can expand the threads to "Injen, AEM, or TRD - which is best?"

There are some interesting looking brackets in that picture. I wonder if they will work with the Vibe? I don't have a machine shop, so I'm in trouble if any metal fab is required.

I agree, the intake itself isn't much, the concern is the sensors. With an aftermarket intake the warranty on the sensors may be void (some places may still honor it but wouldn't be in the wrong if they didn't.). The TRD may eliminate such a concern, but I guess we miss out. Oh well, the sensors don't fail often and aren't terribly expensive.
i may be wrong ,but the last bend look a little short, which may bring the filter a couple of inches off the ground than the others(which is slightly better if your worried about water).i wonder if we wait a while will pontiac rebadge this. i think this may be the cia for me.

It does look a little shorter than my Injen. Interesting. I'm not sure with the Ram Air hood possibly coming out if Pontiac would rebrand this or not. They may just call the Ram Air your cold air intake option.
Part of it may be the use of the stock airbox, but I would say it has a lot to do with the fact that a Ram Air system only makes its maximum power if the vehicle is moving. You can't really simulate a vehicle at speed with a dyno fan. In other words, I don't think the dyno really reflects the full horsepower gain.
