I'll be picking up my '06 Vibe in 2 weeks. What brand of HU best matches the dash lights?

Thanks for the pic. Since the factory stereo is so large, do most install places have the plastic piece like in your pic where your stereo is mounted and a little cubby hole beneath it?

if they are doing install, then they need to have it. you can't just mount the radio onto the car.it's from scershe (i know i spelled that wrong) 2 din to 1 din adapter.the vibe is unofficial 2 din radio. you also need the wire connectors.any respectable radio shop would have all you need to install it yourself.

Welcome to GenVibe fellow Albertan! I have the AVIC-N1 in my 03 Vibe GT - Looks great but to answer your question - nope it doesn't 'match' the dash/interior lighting. Since everything is red, and the Nav/DVD/HU is glowing bright blue. Still looks hella' good - But if you want to match, you gotta' go red, I've seen some Alpine decks where you can change some of the displays to various colors. Go to your local shop - all the HU's should be on display and if the color is your biggest concern it won't be hard to make up your mind!
