04 cd/cassette with upgraded sound system

Will the '04 cd/cassette unit work with the 7-speaker sound system. I have an '05 monsoon system with single CD. I have a lot of cassettes that I'd like to play.

me too, I thnk it would. I put one in an 03 with the amp (they called it moon&tunes then) and also in an 05 with just the 4 speakers, both worked fine, no troubles. Plug and play. You can ping on dmichaelson to find out if his install in a 2006 went ok ( http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=21124 )I caught a lot of grief here for wanting such old technology as a cassette player when I did mine. Now that more people also want one, I feel vindicated

i remeber when i used to actually own cassettes.. ohh soo long ago. and i'm only 23. you guys are old. lol lol lol just kidding.
