CAI and Underbody Flush

Post by Lorin »

Anybody have any trouble with their CAI and the underbody flush at a carwash? I had the car washed this weekend, and it looked pretty wet down there.

This kind of carried over onto MatrixVibe.net as well. I missed it over here, but caught it there. Here's the post...http://www.matrixvibe.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2105

No, but look at the time. I posted and refreshed to double check for spelling mistakes and mine wasn't the only post.

It seems like this would not be a major concern. There is a splash shield I believe under the fog lights that would help prevent any spray from underneath getting directly into the filter.

I've had no trouble with water getting into the intake. With all the snow melting and rain, then freezing at night, some of the deeper stuff was slushy. I went VERY slow through this stuff. LoLOnly splashing I hate is in the engine bay. They dont have the engine bay sealed off like they should.
