O.K. so I lied but here is a concept Ford has for the Fairlane nameplatemore info here-->http://media.ford.com/newsroom...19669kinda got the Mini Cooper look to it. or is it just me
Could be a winner if priced right. Ford really screwed up with their reincarnation of the T-Bird. It was never going to be a serious $40,000 sportrs car to begin with. They could have made one with a 2.4L 4 cyl that sold for $20,000 or so and sold a ---- load of them. Ford management is clueless and unfortunately I have 1,600 shares that are worth 1/3 of what they were a few years ago.

Looks more like 'Explorer Lite' with suicide doors to me.Fairlane is the name of the Ford estate near Detroit, right??? Some names and models should remain 'un-resurrected'! My folks and my grandmother both owned 1963 (then called 'intermediate') Fairlane 4-dr sedans.
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
If the american market was so stupid, ford would bring over some of the euro ford cars, specially the focus of there, so sweet! AUS has some nice BIG v8 cars that US could use specially to compete against the GTO and such....
