Can you identify these wheels?

Post by 1oldbanjo »

I found these wheels on eBay...unfortunately they are 4x100 bolt pattern and will not fit the Vibe...but if I can find who makes these wheels I bet they also make them in 5x100 bolt pattern. Does anybody recognize the manufacurer of these wheels? The listing on eBay claims they are CAM 291 wheels - but an interntet search could not find any source. Thanks - Dave

That seller has a lot of wheels for sale on ebay. You migt try asking that seller if they have any wheels that will fit the Vibe, or if they can refer you to the manufacturer.

Hi Dave.I don't know how much this helps but I found this... http://www.bahicar.com/v2/cata...nv1=8Bahicar could be the manufacturer. I also remembered something similar to this wheel at TireRack. Found this though there are noticable differences, at quick glance, they are similar... http://www.tirerack.com/servle...cial=For some reason, they also reminded me of a Binno wheel but I think I was on crack or something cuz I can't find it now.*edit-I quickly did a translation of that site... CAM is the manufacturer and Bahicar is apparently just a company that sells em. Search brings up too much cam shaft info and hardly anything about wheels. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.(the other...) Dave

It certainly does... Man, those spokes look awfully thin, don't they? Can notice it real clear in the original post's pics.Dave

You guys nailed it....they are made by BSA from Singapore. They come in 15x6.5, 17x7.5 and 18x7.5. I wanted a 17x7 at most, and a 16x6.5 or 16x7 woudl probably be better.....I really don't want toget too wide a rim for my Vibe. It is a daily commuter car and will get lots of mileage on roads that are not in the greatest of shape - with lots of potholes in this part of the country - another good reason to avoid those thin spokes. Thanks for helping me find where these wheels came from.Dave
