Lil household electrical plug thingie...

Post by hjwii »

Now, I love the idea of having that household plug in the dash, but rarely does a plug actually fit (ie phone chargers or gameboy chargers) Does anyone have any suggestions how to make this work nicely, or is there a thing-a-ma-bob I can buy? Thanks, hjwii

Are you talking is in one of the plugs ia larger than the other or a 3 prong to a 2 prong? If so, you can buy either adapter at any hardware or home supply store.

I keep a ground adapter (3-prong to 2-prong) in the center console for those rare times when I may need to plug my camera charger in. It spaces the outlet just far enough from the dash so you can fit something in it.

I usually carry an extension cord. If I need to plug in one of those big wall adapter things directly to the outlet in the console, road vibration will knock it loose, but a short extension cord and I can have the aapter sitting on the floor, out of the way.
