Quote, originally posted by Atomb »sputnik: they're actually VERY easy to install. easier than any other wipers i've ever had to deal with.just take a close look and you'll see a small 'tongue' on the wiper connector. Make sure this 'tongue' slides onto the wiper arm so that it clicks into the hole on the arm. that secures it properly.to take off the current wipers, look for this 'tongue' on the existing wipers and get a small flathead screwdriver. if you slide the screwdriver into the correct slot, it will push the tongue out of the hole in the wiper arm...then the wiper slides off the arm easily.my wife and i have been using them for about a month now (maybe a bit longer?) and Arcs is right, best money i've spent in awhile. They worke really well even with the snow we've been getting!let either one of us know if you have an issue.I think I need pictures. I'm not sure what I'm looking at/for...

silverawd26 - thanks this did the trick! My problem was that I wasn't sure which way to pull it, so I was always pulling the wrong way. Once you said pull towards your body, I figured out what I was doing wrong! So I have now successfully change my wipers! I can hardly wait for some rain! ha!

Had the reflex blades up in souther ontario for over a month. Everyone should have these on their cars! They are worth every penny! And work exactly like the comercials say!The OEM ones were pretty crappy from day one like alot of stuff on the vibes (ie tires). So if you can get the american version you will be extreamly happy!

Manufacturers are migrating to beam blade technology, and eventually it will become OEM equipment on all cars. http://www.tricoproducts.com/n...sitemAvailable at your local Pep Boys fine automotive parts establishment, they are called "InnoVision" and are made by Trico. I got a 18" and 22" blade for US $12.99 and US $14.99, respectively.YES, I know the Vibe calls for 18/21, but I prefer the 22 blade. It fits, and covers more glass.Anyway, pics:These two pics can be clicked to give you a closeup view of the packaging:Went to Pep Boys today and all of the pegs for the "Beam" blades were empty.

The Trico website said that NAPA carried the Innovision blades. Called the one near me and they do not stock them - said that another one a few miles away did. Price was $15.99 for the 21", $14.99 for the 18". Stopped at Wal-Mart - no "beam" blades. Got a 14" replacement for the rear but I now see that it is not 14" - more like 11". Probably have to get at the dealer - I hear that Toyota parts are less so I may try there. Hardly worth the $2.44 to wait in line to return the wrong size blade at Wal-Mart.

Maybe I should invest in a pair. I bet the water doesn't get caught inside and drip all over the hood while I'm trying to dry it off!

Just hit autozone a few days ago to get some brake pads, and they had the new "Bow Style" Bosch blades in stock. I think they were called Aerotwin, but I'm not sure.

I think they were called Aerotwin, but I'm not sure. Thanks for the heads up. Stopped at Autozone today. The blade is called "Bosch Icon". For the Vibe the numbers are 421A @ $19.89 and 421A @ $17.99. AND there was a rebate offer of a $15 Autozone Gift card with purchase of two Icon wiper blades. Offer expires 3-11-06. Limit two offers per household. I don''t know what else I would be buying at Autozone - maybe I'll use it toward a new battery as mine is the 315 CCA and is 3 years old now.

I am mechanically mis-inclined so I am feeling good about this. Just took off the old original wiper blades (3 years old) and put on the new Bosch Icon blades on less than 10 minutes with no tools. What scares me is that they would be easy for someone to steal. Like hanging $40 out there in the open. I'm going to keep the old ones on board just in case. It's going to rain tomorrow so I'll get to see how they work. These new style wipers must be popular as I got the last 21" and the second to last 18" on the Bosh rack at Auto Zone, and the Trico Innovision rack at Pep Boys was empty.

Just wanted to give an update on the wipers. After my old tenants damaged on of them I was forced to buy new ones. I got the second generation Relex Wipers from Canadian Tire and must say they are much better. I will try to post pics of them this weekend to show you all the difference. For me personally these have been the best wipers ever!
