What Happened to the Board Last Night?

Post by Vibe Rater »

I couldn't get on the board last night (connection refused) and today the active thread link (http://forums.genvibe.com/zerosearch?cmd=activethreads) had only 2 or 3 threads on it. Did we have a meltdown?

As I was told, the web servers that host genvibe.com and the forums were moved, thus the downtime. The genvibe.com site was accessible but the forums were down until they got the database up and running for the site. All seems to be running properly now.The reason there were only a few recent threads in the list was because the list is only for a 24 hr period. Since the forum was down about that long, there were no posts in that time span to display. No threads were lost during the downtime.

PHEW!!! That's good. I was afraid the site might have fell victim to cyber-terrorists. Afterall, we are "the shining city on a hill" of automotive sites.
