sunvisors??

Post by red »

The sun is finally appearing up north now and i am noticing that these sunvisors are a little "inadequate". Does anyone know if gm/toyota will address this on next year models or if there is another vehicle from which sunvisors can be used as a replacement?

Good point-there seems to be about a one inch gap on the left hand drivers side that I wish was not there on sunny days! Let's hope they look at this in design.

My wife complained of the same thing. The only solution I have for you is to get a nice set of sunglasses that either wrap around or block the sun some other way on the side. Here is a picture of the pair I have. They block the sun from the side as well as match my Vibe!

Red: Congrats on getting your sun back! How was the hibernation? In the spring I am going to add an 8 or 9 inch strip of window tint along the top of my windshield. That should take the edge off the sun leaking around the Visor. I used to have one of those Visor extensions made of tinted plastic, lost it somewhere. Have to watch for another one....

Looking forward to spring, Frosty!! i have one of those visor clipons your talking about....but i think it might be too big for this visor?, i try it though....the tint on the window sounds good...hey does anyone remeber when the auto manufactures used to put a tint up on the top of the windshield as standard equipment! cost cutting ugh!!

I noticed this too. Why Toyota never thought of adding an extender to the visor is beyond me. But, my Raybans keep my eyes nice and shaded. BTW...what is a 'sun'? LoL

If they new visor fabric is close to what mine is and the visors extend, I will be looking at getting a set and putting them in my Vibe. I bet the screws and holes would work from what we have now. They should just go right in.
