a cheap porsche

Post by mcgusto82 »

yesterday, i parked next to a a new "cayenne S". this car is priced in the 50k$ starting. that is HIGH. maybe not as high as it CAN be, but a lot of money regardless. well, my reason to post was that the thing didn't even have a auto dimming mirror. i understand in sports cars. they try to keep weight down. every onuce counts. but a 50k$ SUV with a manual rear view mirror??

porsche's look never changes either, i think that suv is slightly over rated. if i paid 50k for a car it better have almost ever luxury available.

Porsche's never been able to do cheap cars correctly. The Boxster ballooned in price pretty soon after it was introduced, and it had so many options on most offered that the real price was (ahem) slightly inflated over the base MSRP. And does anybody remember the 914?
