I was backing into a parking space at my friends house last night and managed to hit a rut in the snow causing my Vibe to change course on me and i backed into a snow bank about as tall as the car. No damage accept that i popped out the square reflector at the bottom of the light. The lens is cracked a little around the reflector but shouldn't be noticable if I can get the reflector back on. Any suggestions on how, or is this going to be one of those dealer replacement solutions? I will be eternally gratefull if someone can give me a solution to this that doesn't involve a hundred some dollars out of my pocket.
Some superglue should fix the crack in the lens. Depending on how clean cut the hole is where the reflector popped out, I don't know if the superglue trick will work on that. Hard to say without seeing it. I'm not sure if a larger auto parts store would carry some sort of plastic epoxy that would work. You would always run the risk of moisture getting in there and causing a short or ruining something.
