New vibe, 2006, 1500 miles, when taking off from a stop, my exhaust seems to pass through a reosnant frequency at low RPM. A brief buzz/rattle. Not noticeable at any other time. I didn't notice this on any of the vibes I test drove before ordering mine, but I didn't drive them long either. It's only a minor niggle, but I thought I'd see if anyone else had encountered it and if it was worth having the dealer chase. Sometimes when you have them chasing rattles and buzzes, they can actually make things worse. Any ideas or similar experiences ?Thanks in advance.
Before my Magnaflow got put on I never noticed anything, but now it does right around the 2500 to 3000 RPM range. I had it checked out but they said all of the welds and hangers are tight. Which leads me to believe that the rattle is not in the exhaust but someplace else, and the vibration of the exhaust at that frequency causes the rattle. Mine almost sounds like a spring rattle like from one of the supports in the rear seat. But I can't get a better fix than that because I am not Elasticman.
I don't have a rattle (just a little buzz from the dash) but I get a rumbly-growl - but I think that's the CAI.It it goes away at high RPM its probably not a big deal.

I have the same issue... when it gets warmer outside, I'm going to be under the vibe looking for a heatshield or hanger that may be a bit too close. My 05, is rather loud. My wife's 05 doesn't have it at all.If it really tweaks you - have your dealer go for a ride with you.
