Base vs GT Handling

Post by Speedy D »

HI all,I have been trying to find out some information/differences between the base and GT suspensions. I currently do not own a Vibe but am considering one, however, I am not certain if I should go with the base (5 speed) or the GT (6 speed) Model. I would like to occasionally autocross the Vibe but it will mainly be a daily driver. I am not looking to modify the vehicle as well. (i.e. - powertrain/suspension) unless something needs fixing or replacing.Any suggestions/opinions from those that have driven both the base and GT models?Your help is appreciated in advance. Thanks,Derek

having driven both but own a base Vibe (with a modified suspension) I'm going to have to agree. stock to stock, its the same. Now for autocross you may want to lower the car an inch or more and add a strut bar. Its like night and day for handling.
