So has anyone done this yet? My vibe throws CEL after installing the Cosmo CAI. Had the same problem with my satty, caused the first O2 sensor to throw undervolt errors. I have a feeling this may work...hmmm..

I had a Cosmo on my '04 Auto and just put one on my '06 5 speed and never had a CEL. Something must not be hooked up right or you got oil on the MAF sensor. Have you had the CEL code read?

It is a base 05 (DBW), auto, 22K miles.Oil on the MAF, now there might be something there. Obviously dirty hands working under a dirty hood. That is a good idea, I'll have to check that out.I haven’t coded the CEL yet, it comes and goes. The only constant is the amount of drive time. If I drive for more than 20 miles at one time it will turn on. However short trips around town and work dont throw CEL.I assumed it was related to the O2 sensor, given the history I had with my satty after modding the intake.

I got one after installing my CAI b/c I installed the VSV upside down. Make sure the cap is down! It should look upside down.

After the CAI it floats in the engine bay with 2 hoses coming out of it. It has a green cap on the bottom and it used to connect to the stock air box. If you have it cap up, the hoses are switched and it will give you a CEL.

I didnt change any of the lines during install. I just went and looked at your cardomain pics and everything looks the same. Did I miss something during the CAI install?

If it looks like or is connected like this it is upside down. That black cap should be on the bottom and the hoses should be opposite.

Mine looks different, however considering the hose layout I would have to say that mine is upside down as well.I'll flip it and see what happens, worse case it wont work.
