Side view mirrors

I've read about complaints with the blind spots with the Vibe/Matrix. I've notice that the side view mirrors seem to be extra long, allowing me to see my blind spots with the side view mirror. I'm curious if the 06 mirrors are the same as the older models, or if they did this because of the complaints I've heard about. BTW my mirrors are 6.5" long measured at the middle. I still check my blind spots, but rely more on my side view mirrors when passing. Takes getting used to.

pretty sure they are the same, but they might paint them now.as for my blind spot on the driver side i got a little mirror that goes on the mirror so i can see it, helps a ton for passing and lane changes

Old advice was to adjust your side mirrors out to where you see just a bit of your side panels in the mirrors. New advice since there no way your side panels are going to hit you , is to adust the mirror out further to eliminate the blind spots.
