K & N has a CAI for about $150. I haven't found a Dyno anywhere, but I know K & N has kickass filters. Anyone heard anything compared to the Injen or AEM?

From what I have heard, the Injen or AEM produce more horsepower and torque than the K & N. The Injen and AEM are true CAI's while the K & N is considered a short ram. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I went ahead and picked up the Injen CAI/Borla exhaust package that they have on http://www.ptuning.com just now. Shipping and tax brought it to $575. I'm going to run a dyno after I install it and tell everyone how much power it brought to the wheel. Thanks for the help
Your welcome! And by all means, please make a post showing the dyno results after you install those parts. I'm sure all of us would like to know the performance difference!

quote:I'm jealous!!! I have to wait a while to buy my stuff. I am curious to see the dyno results. I hear ya! I have to work weekends (overtime) for my car cash. I really don't have to work overtime for the stuff I want, I just want my stuff faster. I am working next weekend for my blue Injen CAI and blue Injen oil cap from Adventon.com.

Sorry, I misread the $150 quote. They offer it for $150 but not for the vibe. As for the money spent on the mods, my father recently won the lottery and shared a couple thousand with me. Of course I had to dump it into the ride!
quote:Damn 186.95 for a base CAI!! Great price. thanks for the link TritonYour welcome. It is just over $200 for a GT CAI. That's why I am getting mine from them also.As far as the filter element goes, the technician I talked to said that it was the same design as K & N, but not an actual K & N filter. He also said you treat it the same way as far as maintenance goes.
