That which may be known of God is evident within man, for God has shown it to them, so that they are without excuse.(Romans 1:19-20) What do you want most in life?
It pretty much all just pulls off. The center piece with the heater controls is the hardest but it takes a little "finesse" I used Krylon Fusion paint (found at Wal-Mart) which doesn't require any priming and fininshed it with some Rust-O-Leum Laquer for protection. It also made it look real nice. Took about 3 hours to paint and dry. There are posts on how to take the dash apart but I can help out if you need. Easy to do and it gives the car a little life. Mine had the dull grey trim before.
may i suggest clear coat. gives depth to the paint. i used to have a room mate that painted his interior completely on basic paint. no clear coat ot anything. it looked like poop
not too bad. looks nice. i did that myself after the 2nd day i had my 03 VGT. but then later that summer, i had a body shop redo it to match my dark red leather inserts on my seats. as mcgusto suggested, clear coat makes the difference, especially when it comes to scratches (that area is easily scratched- atleast for me it was) plus adds a nice shine to it.
Anyone try that color changing paint on the interior silver trim yet? I was thinking of going with something along those lines... just didn't know if it would be tough to cover it up if I didn't like it?

I dunno, i just dont like the blue, maybe if there was a little blue in the dash to not make it stand out as much I like the look of the red dash with the red in the seats
That looks wonderful! I need to repaint the small rectangle where the a/c controls are. The silver is fading and rubbing off....I'm thinking matallic black to match the car.
looks pretty good..i was considering this..but im going a different route totally..dont think anyones done what i plan to do so im keeping it hush hush
have any of you used the color matching that they have at places like sherwin williams or other hardware places? i'd like to paint my dash items black like the rest of it. but nice willsdad!

He's not painting the dash - he's wrapping the entire upper half in leather or vinyl! that would be totally boss to see. and wave, thanks. now i just need to get a small enough sample in to the store to have matched. maybe i should just walk in with the whole dash. XD.
