Hello all, just a quick question...Bad snow storm this morning in Ottawa, Canada. So my wife is pulling into the garage at work very slowly while the front wheels are spinning just a little. I'm standing beside the car while she's driving and notice that the rear driver's side wheel is dragging while she's moving forward... She swears that she didn't have the parking break on... I guess my question is does the Base 05 Vibe have some kind of anti-slip feature that I'm not aware of? Thanks in advance!!!
The rear wheels *should* be turning freely provided that the brakes or parking brake are not on.. Sounds to me like either the brakes did not release back there... I would definitely have that checked, there won't be much life left in the brake shoes if you drive to too long if the brakes aren't backing off once they are released...

I haven't looked at the routing of the parking brake cable on the Vibe, but on a completely different vehicle I had a problem with the back wheels when an object got lodged between the body and the parking brake cable. On another car I had a problem where the parking brake cable froze and didn't let go. Hopefully the problem was that she was embarrassed about having the parking brake on, or that once in the garage, whatever was causing the problem will melt and the problem will go away by itself. Normally, no reason for the rear wheel to drag
