anybody know the preassure the windshield wascher nozzles operate at?also is it a pump or engine bleed air?reason i'm asking is cause i want to add headlight washers to work with the winshield washers.

There's an electric pump or two around somewhere... That's yet another stinkin' thing they had to replace on my car, the rear washer started acting up. I guess there is one for the front and one for the rear...You probably need a higher pressure for the headlight washers than what the windshield washer can provide, right? If not, I say just T into the line that goes to the windshield washer nozzles and call it done.

well, that's what i'm conerned with. i want to know what kind of preassure the pump puts out. i do want to just T of the lines aready there. it isn't difficult, but i want to do it right.bumper has to come off for this. i'd hate to remove the bumper in this weather to have to do it all over again.

Take off one of the hood nozzles, block off the other and pressure test the one hose... This will tell you the pressure of the pump. Usually they are low pressure and the nozzle is the thing that creates the spray since it reduces the flow to a smaller size hole. My guess is you will need a little stronger pump to spice off of it. Should not be too hard if you can get a stronger pump. And do not remove the front fascia, come un from under the lamp assemblies. This will be easier to do or at least prototype before you permanently mount in the fascia.
