John Lennon...

Today is the anniversary to John Lennon's death. Late evening, December 8th, 1980 a great and talented artist's flame was extinguished.I see Joatmon has a great avatar and signature for the occasion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_LennonEnjoy!(this is post 777 for me... how odd)

He was a good man... I was only approaching 3 on this day 25 years ago so needless to say I don't remember anything about it. But I truly do miss the guy.

That sure put a damper on my birthday--now everyone associates 12/8 with John Lennon's death. He was a great man and his presence is missed in the musical world.

I don't see what the big deal is, so what he died 25 years ago, GET OVER IT and move on. I have never understood why people boo hoo over some celeb's death anniversary it isn't as if the celeb were family.
