Got a NEW CAR!! Still a Pontiac

Hey guys me again like the tittle says I finally got a new car. Thanks for all the people hee that helped (scherry2 employee discount) or had advice. I went to my dealer and purchased a 2006 G6 GTP coupe. Its like a dark gray, (liquid silver maybe) black leather seats, 18in. wheels, 3.9Liter V6 240hp engine, 4sp auto,Monsoon High-Performance Speakers (8), adjustable gas/brake pedals, XM Radio, dual chrome exhaust, air conditioning, automatic, and other stuff. I also got 5 years/100,000 mile warranty, The Gap insurance, and this tracking system that you can check online where the car is, if stolen you can disable it, and enable it. The only thing Im having taken off are the chrome rims. The stock GTP rims are 18's but are Painted the ones on the car where also 18's but chrome and they where going to charge me $2,000 for them so I had them order the stock GTP wheels and still waiting on them to call me to get them swapped. The final price after interest and tax and all that was just shy of $25,000 USD. I think that was a good deal. I dont have the best credit so the interes rate was a little high but even then I think I did good. This car has some power. Thanks for all the help. I will try to take pictures later.

nice. i really like those new G6 coupes. very nice design for sure! but, still, with the snow and winter we've been having here, i'm thankful i have my 250 hp AWD! even still, i've slid around in the ice. however, if i were in cali, i'd be holding out for a solstice!

Sounds great! Should be lots of fun! And a 240 HP V6 naturally aspired engine is nothing to be shy about! Probably gets better mileage than some turbo-ed 4 Cylinders! One for example is mine!

Yeah 240 is nice. I dont think I will mod this car too much. I was just thinking about an exhaust and intake. Too bad I cant find Borla or Magnaflow exhaust for it. Borla is like 5 minutes from my house and the owner used my friends Ram SRT-10 as prototype (paid full price) and he said even if they use my car to prototype I wont get a discount (cheap B***rd). Think Im gonna keep it for a while so have to make the warranty last. Maybe by time warranty is gone then they will have a SC for it.

You should be able to just cut the muffler off of yours and find a Borla to fit to it using the original pipes. Maybe you have gone down this path?? If not Dynomax may be a try. The hard part would be A) doing it so soon into the warranty, if it does not matter than it is no big deal or B) finding the muffler to fit since the G6 is so new.

Thats what the problem is right now. The G6 is soo new. I know you are thinking its been out for like a year but the GTP just came out so Im limited to parts. I did find a bodykit ($1,047.16 painted/$694.66 primed) but not sure if I will get it. Then I would really have to watch for pot holes and speed bumps.http://www.factorywings.com/Detail.bok?no=2349

another vibe gone... sad. BUT anotehr pontiac. that's always good.i myself have been thinking of the new Grand Prix GXP V8.that car is extremely sweet.i've been pricing them out lately. with red tag, i can buy for under 28k.

Damn, why didn't anyone show me the g6 coupe when i was car shopping. Looking at that body kit and the performance output when I get better from this accident and released i might look into getting one of those bad boys
