Corvette exhaust tip on my Vibe!

I was just messing around over the weekend and thought about something... I was looking at the old exhaust from my Vette and said I bet one of the 4 tips will fit my Vibe. I had to cut the tabs off the tip to install it on the Vibe but I think it looks good! Better than the GM Vibe tips you can buy...Two saw blades later since stainless is so hard and it worked!

The tip is held on just by compresion force since the new tip is not round. There is a drain hole on the tip and I could have run a screw through it to the old Vibe tip to hold it in place even more but it does not need it.I have a pic of the tip before I cut it but it is too large to post. EDIT: Thanks to Rasermon here it is...

I remember when I went into the dealer parts counter, and they had 2 Vibe ehaust tips setting there. I asked and the parts guy said he ordered them for a salesman's vette and they found out they were to big. I bought 1 as a used part. now its in my attic with my stock exhaust.

Going from a Vibe tip to a Vette stock tip you would get what the dlr told you. My tips are actually aftermarket for the Vette since my year Vette did not have tips. Not until 2000 did GM put small tips on the car...

Hey, the Vette exhaust tip looks cool on the Vibe. I put a exhaust tip from my '70 Dodge Dart 340 on my Vibe - wish I still had that car.click

Yours looks good too! Speaking of old Dodges... My friend has a 1970 Dodge Polara. An old lady car and boy is it s blast from the past!
