The other day, I really tested how much cargo room my Vibe has.We went to the store to continue the Christmas shopping we had started last week and ended up buying two 26 inch men mountain bikes. I was concerned that I may not be able to fit both bicycles in my Vibe but thanks to the back seat folding all the way down I was able to get both bikes in my vibe. I did have to leave the glass door open since the tire of one of the bikes would not let the door close. Just goes to show how much room the Vibe actually has.
I drove my Vibe across canada from Ontario to Alaska USA with 4 tires stacked behind the front seats and then a pile of boxes and suitcases. You could not see out the back window. the whole back area was packed from folded seat to roof and from front seats straight to the rear window. Did my car sit low or what lol but surprisingly enough... I got the best gas mileage I have ever gotten.these Vibes hold a lot!

the one thing that did bug me is that the back opening (hatch) is literally fractions of an inch less than 4 feet.this makes it impossible to carry a sheet of 8'x4' plywood, etc.
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!

Picked up a wicker patio set last summer (love seat, table and two chairs). Took some wiggling but managed to get them in and close the hatch and doors. Actually had a small audience watching me load them. Snickering and such..until I closed the doors..Then they applauded!! Gotta love the versatility of the vibe.
when i first moved 4 montha go. i had a large appliance hand truck on op of the rack.i thought i had secured it properly. turns out the straps gave in as the car drove. well, the antenna got caught in the hand truck and riped the antenna off the base. it basically ripped the metal tread. luckily the wire didn't get torn off. so i had to remove the base, crimp the tread peice back in. it took me for ever. put some epoxy within the base to keep the antenna secured. everything works fine now. too bad it lso scracthed the cross bars.
We got our kitchen island (it is on wheels) and a recliner in my car - at the same time. The island went on its top and the recliner was opened up just a tad to get it to fit under the roof. We still had room left so we put a few other items in there as well. I love the room in my car and have people at work telling me that my Vibe has more room than their SUV's - I glow in the praise of my baby!!!!!
Just because you see Charlie doesn't mean I am a he....sometimes Charlie can be a she!!!!
Thirteen 4'x4'x8' fence posts and ten 80lb. bags of concrete (there's a few on the pasenger floor and few in the back seat behind the driver not visible in the picture).I think I may have exceeded the weight limit , but there was still room for more!

I was able to fit 2 road bikes and a mountain bike in the back of my vibe earlier this summer. The road bikes were fork mounted to the tracks ad t the mountain bike was put inbetween rear first. Fit nicely, had to travel from Staten Island, NY to The City. God I'm glad that relationship is over!!!
