at the chinese restaurant
a couple goes for a meal at a Chinese restaurant and orders the "chicken surprise". The waiter brings the meal, servedin a lidded cast iron pot. just as the wife is about to serve herself, the lid of the pot rises slightly and she briefly sees to beady little eyes looking around before the lid slams back down."Good grief, did you see that?" she asks her husband.He hasn't, so she asks him to look in the pot. he reaches for it and again, the lid rises and he sees two little eyes looking around before it slams down. Rather perturbed, he calls the waiter over, explains what is happening and demands an explanation."Please sir," says the waiter, "what did you order?"The husband replies, "the Chicken Surprise.""Ah... so sorry," says the waiter, "I bring you peeking duck"

Three Chinese men, Ching, Chang and Chong came to the United States to find themselves a job. They find work at an abandoned coal mine that was re-opening. Ching's job was to chop out the coal, Chang was put in charge of pushing the hoppers of coal out of the mine, and Chong was in charge of supplies. On the first day, everything was going well, but they couldn't find Chong, and were worried he got lost down in the mine, so the rest go looking for him. They come to a corner in the mine shaft and Chong jumps out and yells "Supplies!".
