Hello, I have an 05 vibe and just purchased an H4 HID conversion kit. The company is Acumen. I installed the lights (simple plug and play, no extra wiring or cutting needed) and turnerd the car on. The lights do not go on, but on the dashboard, the night list and high beam are on. I played around with the headlight switch but nothing. I checked the fuses, and all ok. I even removed the DRL fuse and nothing. I even asked the guy at the shop if these will work with DRL, and he said they handle low/high voltage.I don't know what to do next...any ideas, besides going to the shop!thanks,
It's not a good copy of the diagram, but hopefully it helps.There is one thing though...it comes with 1 20amp fuse. I checked the fuse box under the hood, and I noticed the 'main headlight' fuse which is a different fuse, and the single 15amp fuses which are identical for right headlight and left headlight.I did not look under the dash for any headlight fuses yet...I'm not sure where this 20amp fuse should go, I think this might be causing the problem.
that diagram is as good as the one i got with my remote starter.i never did get that thing working right. lolthat looks like a picture too. i can barely make out the letters.if you can "scan" it... do that.
I had the same problem with a kit I just installed today. Is the adapter a 2 or 3 prong adapter, if it is a 2 prong, you have to remove the prong from the adapter (the part the plugs into the original H4 light) and move it I can't remember exactly how, it's dark right now, so I can't really check but if it is only 2 prong there has to be one prong at the 12 o'clock position and one at the 3 o'clock position (looking directy at the outlet) The one on the 9 o'clock position is the power for the high beam. I will look tomorrow if this does not help you, let me know.

I tried removing the 9 o'clock prong and the high beam light does not come on, but no head light.wire colors...9 o'clock = black12 o'clock = blue3 o'clock = black wire with a regulator (i think) which is connected to the 12 o'clock.
OK, that's a weird set of wires. Here's what I know. on the original adapter that plugs into your OEM lights, when looking at the OEM plug:12 o'clock position is the low beam negative3 o'clock is the low and high beam positive6 o'clock is blank9 o'clock is the high beam negativeSo if I were to wager a guess for yoursBlack - 12Blue - 9Black w reg (probably inline fuse) - 3Let me know, I'll keep an eye on this thread while I'm working around the house today.

Yeah, basically the Vibe is backwards and switches ground instead of +12 I think.I went through something similar with my and Mike's cars.Normal bulbs don't care about polarity, but HIDs do.
