Newbie with Electric Lock Question

Post by guitarspaz »

Hello, Just got my new Vibe and really diggin it, but I have a question regarding the electric door locks. When I stop the car, put it in park, then turn off the ignition, they automatically unlock. Is there anyway that they can be setup to not unlock automatically ? Maybe the dealer can push a control code in or something ? Not a huge deal, but I don't like the idea of pulling into a dark parking area and having my doors automatically unlock when I turn off the ignition. I looked through the book and didn't see anything about it.Thanks in advance.06 VibeMoons and Tunes w/XM/CDPower windows, locks, cruise, etcKeyless Entry17 inch wheels w/ABS and Tire Pressure MonitorWhite, 2 tone

I just checked the 06 manual myself, and low and behold, they don't tell you how to program the locks. Losers. This page is from the 05 manual. See if it works for you...let us know.
