great... moving again.

ok, guys. some of you might have known i moved from VA to NY a few months ago.as a turn of events. the a*s***e that had offered and was under contract to buy the my house, pulled from the contract 2 days before closing. needless to say, i was angry. this person had made such a difficult time of everything. first she had to change brokers, then after i extended the contract.. she went back to the broker. that took 2 months. then as we pushed forward, the appraisal was taking forEVER.finally it came back. she made an offer and we both agreed that she would pay what it apraised for. she did made a generous offer. 20k over asking. then the apraisal came back for 1k over offered. so the salling price was going to to be what she offered. all of the sudden that was too much for her and couldn't afford it. this made me very angry. she was approved for 15k over what she had offered. so that was A LIE. finally i agreed to and so did she to go 5k below to finally get this closed. 2 days before (i had traveled to VA to be there in person for closing). i get a call from my agent telling me she needed more time. (about 3 months had lapsed already). i told her i was standing firm and was not going to extend past the end of this week.next day. agent calls back. "looks like she is trying to get you to lower the price more, i think she is playing games." my agent tells me this. i tell her to don't extend this anymore. they are in breach of contract and my agent and myself are going to sue her. so now, my wife and i after paying for rent here and mortgae there for 3 months. are looking at how much we have lost and can't keep loosing more. we'll be broke soon. we had to rid of one of those 2 big bills.in all honesty, it's a godsend sign. neither my wife or I are enjoing our time here. i miss my house and VA. hoepefully by next month we'll be seettled back in VA. p.s. i'm doing the move myself. any of you guys have truck rental coupon you can part with? i need all the aid i can get for a last minute move. dang i wish i had AAA. a discount goes with them.boxes would a preciated too.i guess i should post that in for sale/wanted forum.thanks.

Well, I feel your pain... sort of.I put my house on the market about a month ago. After two weeks, it sold at full-price. A week went by with no contact from the buyer saying she had everything together until 1 day before we were to close. She backed out. Now granted that means she gives up her ernest money, but I had already moved out of the house and into a storage unit and my parents' house. That $500 hardly makes up for my time and trouble.What a pain! Good luck with your move. I hope everything goes well. WIth all the moving I've done recently, I might have a coupon for a moving van. I'll shoot you an IM if I find one.

well, according to my agent. i can sue for damages from my traveling to closing. my mortgage payment during while the house was under contract. hopefully i will also be able to sue for having to move back.honestly, the money seems like little comfort. i say that because it's money in the far future. i've seen these thing take months, years..i just hope to create the tormoil that she caused me.she is a supposed investor. this will defenately hurt her credability.and hopefully put a a balck mark on her business.it also really angers me that it cost 1/3 more to move from NY to VA. the same distance, the same company, the same time. yet it cost soo much more. that is ridiculous.
