Very interesting. I should get some to show off my Vibe's rusty black drum brakes.

No this was posted on a local forum it looks to be from a warmer climate as I can see Palm tree trunks.Other forums are guessing it is some type of Lexan but no one knows who makes them. Obviously they would be for show. There is no venting for the brakes and they would never be clean.

Oh yeah, good point....there aren't many palm trees in the Cities. They are just a bit 'showy' for my taste.

Wow, that is crazy, but I think they look awesome! I agree they would be impossible to keep clean and wouldn't help the brakes any, but they do look awesome for show. I am little worried about how strong they would be too.

I wonder how much they would set you back? Trust me they wouldn't last long here in Montreal with our potholes lol.....

Now someone is saying on MO that it is a photochop, but I want to see the original if it is just to make sure.

The front brakes on a 350z should be dual caliper, in this photo they are single caliper. This is an abvious photoshop!

Yup - I'd say that's a photochop too folks.... seriously doubt any clear substance readily available could handle that kind of strain.

Those are fugly! Wouldn't they crack or even shatter at the slightest pothole? I definitely wouldn't spend my money on those!

Single caliper with a dual piston. You cannot see the pistons from these views. Pistons are between the brake pad and the rotor.

Look at the outside of the caliper, one hole. When they drill the piston hole in the caliper they have to also drill through the outside part because the whole assembly is one peice. I see only one hole in the front, this = single piston= a obvious chop!
