Yeah, I've been to Europe a few times before and they always seem to have the coolest cars; Smart for instance...But yeah, I think it was BMW that made a car like the one you posted a few years ago, looks really sweet up close, I didn't get to ride in one, considering I didn't have my license at the time, but Europe definitely seems to have the more fun to drive, lightweight, peppy little cars, whereas we get huge gas-guzzling suv's that could also be converted to school buses, or bomb shelters if one wished.

Take my word for it, it's ANYTHING but fun to drive. It's one of those cars that went 0-60... sometimes. I'm guessing this is not the car you're referring to though, because it's also not exactly "sweet" looking either. Looked a little like a deformed Volkswagen Beetle.

"It can't be tipping over like a Robin"The Robin was a 3-wheel car I'd see fairly often when living in England in the late 80's. Supposedly it was developed because (at least at the time) there was a loophole in English tax laws that allowed a vehicle with less than four wheels to get out of vehicle/road taxes. Was like 40hp, and prone to tipping if cornered hard.Apparently, they just stopped making them a few years ago:

That Robin is one (removed) ugly vehicle, you might say.

If one came into my field of vision (even peripheral), it seemed my brain would just tag it as "there's something very wrong with that car.... check it out!" That Carver 3-wheeler, on the other hand, looks like a fun & sweet ride!

Isetta? Not sweet looking? That's just crazy talk!!! If it is good enough for Urkel, it's good enough for anybody! He's a heckuva kewl d00d! I was looking for screen shots of old Family Matters shows with him behind the wheel but never found any. Bummer. Man, that was a very fitting car for that character.

yeah, BMW did make a vihicle like this before. there have been several attemps to make a crossover bike to car. few have been pleasurable to drive. even fewer have enjoyed production. there was a bike put into a cockpit about a decade ago. you could drive it just like a bike, and had deployable traning wheels.you know, even though i hate how this country's culture invites huge uninnovational ideals. it's unfair to compare it to a continent. we are one nation. europe is a CONTINENT. LOLvarious cultures enjoy more ideas than 1 bigger nation. if you think about, innovation comes from need and desire. we don't need bikes/cars like these. on the other hand do, some of the contries there do.

The original BBC series, Mr. Bean, used to bust on this car all the time - tipping it over on a regualr basis or having Mr. Bean's Mini (original ones, not the new fancy ones) beat it up.
