Bringing back an old post. Has anyone purchased from Wheelmax? How is the quality and their service? I like this wheel and it seems to be a good deal at $599 for 17"s or $799 for 18"s wheel packages including tires. Just don't know what tires are included. Later,

Yes, they are great. I have dealt with them over the phone and everyone has been nice...they have the best prices on wheels and tire packages...and free shipping too! Don't have any doubts about them. I'll be getting rims from them.
CathyWhen this baby hits 6.000rpm's, you're gonna see some serious sh*t-Got Lift?'03 Neptune Vibe GT: SLP Hood, AEM CAI, Thermal R&D exhaust, Unorthodox underdrive pullies, K&N filter, G-Racing 17' Mito's, TEIN Springs, yellow calipers, GrafxWerks, Silverstar's, XM, Infinity basslink-more mods to come!http://www.mitro.net/vibe
You can easily call them for tires...to find out exactly what tires can go on the wheel. Wheel Max is the distributor, not the maker of the wheels and tires...the quality will depend on what you buy.

Yes, I know they are the distributor and not the manufacturer. I guess I should have reworded my question. To be more specific I meant the quality of products from those brands that Wheelmax carries, such as Excel. I just haven't seen some of those brands at Tirerack.com or Discounttiredirect.com. Also, what do you all think of this wheel on the Vibe? I'm just not sure if it is too open. I don't like it when the spokes are too narrow. Can someone photoshop it onto a Vibe? Thanks

Yes they will be chrome...however, I am not 100% sure I will be buying them soon. I am so indecisive...1700 bucks is a lot of money and I'm too chicken right now to shell it out. Mike is pushing me though...peer pressure!!! They will look sooooooo badass though...I don't know everything there is to know about wheels, but shopping around is the number one thing you should do. Mille Miglia are good quality rims, but wheelmax doesn't carry them....tire rack does. Alba and Branzach are great rims and tire rack doesn't carry them, wheel max does. also check out http://www.thedealonwheels.comYou could easily do a search on Exel rims through google or whatever and see what you come up with. I'm not entirely sure if they're "great" quality or even bad, but they are light...which could account for them being on the cheaper side. Make sure to buy a wheel/tire package, otherwise you'll need to pay a shop to mount the tires on the rims...costing extra $$$.
