I came across this Vibe in a parking lot. I remember someone else on here posted a few pics of the new colors but I figure I would post one too since this is my first sighting.I think it's a pretty neat color. It needs to be given to someone that likes to fix up cars, I think it would be alot better with wheels, springs, grills blah blah blah.I didn't even notice at the time but my mom just got a 2006 Grand Prix in the same color
I agree with you mcgusto82...the newer vibes look very tame, almost minivan-like. Thus why I am planning on all sorts of mods to give my '05 a much more aggressive look. As for the '06...I don't see much of a difference from the '05.

Another change: The rocker panels on the monotone models are now the same, larger style as the 2-tones have had since '04, only with "paint" on them of course, if you can call ther stuff they put on our cars "paint."

I didn't think it was called paint either. I thought it was a protective coating that starts to peel off the minute you drive it off the lot... maybe I'm wrong?I don't care too much for that new color either... looks like a creamy-slate color... yuck!I guess I'm driving a mini-minivan.

It only took me about 5 seconds after sitting down in this car to realize it was much like a minivan.

Wow, a lot more feedback than I expected I honestly think it's a nice color. Try to picture it would aluminum or black/gunmetal rims with chrome lip, tint, 2.5 inches lower, no roof rails, and some overlays. Maybe some excelent photo editors can make t happen for us!
Quote, originally posted by Lancer »I think the only changes are on the interier, Leather seats, ummm!my '05 has leather seats. this lists the "premium package" as a new option, but everything it mentions was included in a "leather seating" option on my '05. is there something different about the new leather package?
hey colonel, iwas gonna ask that too...seems like our 04 rocker panels are now standard on the 06?i like the stealth color. maybe i'm the only one...and yeah, the 05-06 front end is too minivan like. i can understand pontiac wanting to give the fleet a more consistent look, but to me, the pontiac insignia is enough to do that

SUV's, Minivans and Station wagons are really starting to blur into one big group. Remember back in the early 90's when you could tell the difference between them?
well I LOVE the new color.....it's almost like a Battleship blue and I have seen 2 now on the road and they look sweet.Other than that ,it is the only way I could tell it was a 2006.....wierd that Pontiac would not make even a subtle change to it so you can....like Toyota did with the rear lights on the Matrix.

I remember reading somewhere that this was to give Pontiac vehicles more a common identifying trait. Much like the BMW and GMC does.I agree though - I like the individuality of each vehicle. I'm trying to make it look much less like a cookiecutter design.
I agree ~Just the other day, at the usual $2 car wash by my house, I was charged $3 which is reserved for "trucks and vans."I argued with the dude and eventually had to cough up the extra $1 seeing as I had a huge line behind me.I wouldn't have minded paying $3 if it had been the $3 CAR wash. I thought I had a car. It was funny because I just ran my husband's 04 Alero through the same wash and his was $2, and when our cars are parked next to each other, my Vibe "looks" smaller. Whatever!
I like the colour for its tame look.Maybe it's just me.
