Sorry guys, even if I prefer our cars (6 speed, more fun to drive, higher rpm, sportier gt/xrs...) compared to the mazda (more torque, feel solid, volvo s-40 platform, quieter...), I think the mazda will win. I'm sure we can discuss the subject at the meet next saturday...

Seeing how the Mazda will get to 1000 degrees in 5.2 seconds, it will clearly be the winner. Seriously though, looking at specs, I think it will probaly end up winning.

How come they didnt pick a manual Vibe Gt with abs for the matchup? its like comparing apples with oranges.

Quote, originally posted by POLO »base automatic without abs vs mazda manuel with abs.Thats not even fair. Put an automatic mazda 5 up against a base vibe manual and see what happens. You don't need a GT to beat that car, and it just seams clear to me that this race was rigged for the mazda crowd. I like the mazda 5, but calling it a sporty compared to the vibe is a stretch. It's sporty compared to a mini-van, mabey.

hey, let's all write an email of protestation to the show, to let them know that they were off track for that one.Edit: this is the only email I found up to now. it's good for every show for TQS, so I'll keep digging, but we can use that one... tvpublic@tqs.cavoici le email que j'ai envoyé à cette adresse:"Bonjour à toute l'équipe du Monton noir.

IMO, this show has little credibility. I lost interest in it when they've tested a AMG benzo and this dude from Canadian Tire claimed that there was an engineering flaw when the rear brakes were designed. Yeah, whatever...I wouldnt care about that show.
