Vibe Newspapers Ads - Cleveland

Post by jake75 »

Was in Cleveland this weekend at Embassy Suites Downtown and the Sat Plain Dealer was delivered to my room. About half the newspaper was auto advertising. A couple of interesting observations. One dealer was advertising a new 2006 Base Vibe, $1,000 discount, $500 rebate, $500 conquest rebate. Picture was of a 03 or 04. Another ad advertised a used 2002 Vibe. Unless I'm wrong I think 2003 was the first model year.

You're right jake. Regular Vibe production began January 7th '02 as '03 models.

Unfortunately newspaper ads do not seem to be binding on the seller. These people refused to sell me a Vibe that met the characteristics in this ad from last summer

I like the third row seat option and running boards. You would think that we were buying an Expedition or something. If that is the case than it wouldn't be a bad deal.
