Thanks. Yeah, we sorta raced on the drive that day. At a stop light, we both took off. I didn't do a peel out launch or drop the clutch from 4k rpm, I just did a normal low rpm launch and gunned it. I was thinking, this is going to be so embarrassing LOL. Turned out, even with my not so quick launch, by the time we got up to 60-70, he was only maybe 5 cars ahead. Turned out, he didn't go completely all out. I was going to say, I'd expect his Corvette to blow me away much more than it did that time. We didn't do any other racing, but did have fun gunning the engines as we drove around and I was able to stay up with him.

Oh yeah! Man, those new 2006 Z06 Corvettes are awesome! What is it, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds I think?! Crazy fast, competes with the exotic cars from Lamborgini and Ferrari, but costs a fraction of the price! I also love the new Corvette (C6 right?) design. My brother just got his a month or so ago, 1999 model. Those wheels he has (18s front, 19s rear) are from the 2006 Z06 model. Very, very rare to see them on a C5. That's his toy, my Vibe is my toy for now.
