Center Console Power outlet should be always on

Luxury cars typically offer "retained accessory power" and allow power to the radio, windows and certainly the 12V outlets. Why not the Vibe?I plan to rewire my outlet in the center console to be "hot" all the time so the Cell phone will remain charged. Will add it to my long list of things to do in the spring.Any suggestions as to which circuit to move it to? Does it matter?

Pick up the big fat red wire in the steering column, should be the constant 12v from the battery

i cut all my yellow wires and i now have pillows to sleep on when im driving!!!! (joke!!! do not cut the yellow wire)
