Sirius and an FM Modulator

Post by PhillyVibeGT »

Does anyone know if I can use a universal FM Modulator or do I need a proprietary modulator in order to hook up my orbiter directly to the stereo. BTW I have moon and tunes. Thanks!

Any modulator should work.

As long as your orbiter has a line out, youbetcha. The Sportster works fine in Kari's car with her FM modulator, I thought it sounds pretty good. She doesn't use it much though, the transmitter built into the thing works good enough so the modulator is reserved for the ipod. I've got the Sportster in mine as well, but no modulator here, I just use the transmitter set to 87.5, works great.
