Anyone else's GT hubs rusty??

The hubs on my 04 GT have surface rust on them. It's visible through the wheels and quite annoying. Anyone else have the problem? I was thinking about getting caliper paint (silver) and fixing the problem...oh, and I know to how to prep and paint...

Yes - I've got the same problem. I haven't decided what to do about it yet though. I thought about upgrading to new rotors (slotted? drilled?), but a quick sanding and painting would probably fix the problem. Anyone else got any ideas?Vibe Commander

I just painted my brakes silver. They look good too. I'll have to post some pics soon.

those are your cast iron rotors, not hubbs...of course they'll rust. You just happen to have rims that show this.

Mine did the same thing, I painted mine metalic gray and then painted my calipers that color changing paint (copper to green). check out pics on my cardomain site.

I have the same problem. I actually didn't really notice it until last summer one of my friends pointed it out. You can see it right through my wheels. I might get around to sanding and painting it someday, but it's not a priority.
