What sources are there for roof caps? How much are they? Those that have roof caps, how is the quality of them? How are they installed? Could you please post pics of your roof caps. Thanks

Street-Graffiti has a set that are fiberglass, but the don't sit as flush. The S-G caps are installed with screws using the same holes as the roof rack. A pic of the S-G caps that I have is in my photobucket.

You might still be able to get them from him or someone on Ebay has been selling the kit, but I don't know about the caps.

I have the same as Damron. Mine are not as flush as his though. Also the fiberglass will need a little prep work if you get these. After painting I found pin holes in the fiberglass as well as little dips if you look at it parallel where their fingers pressed the molds...or that's what it looks like atleast. They makea HUGE difference and I allways get compliments for them. Most of my friends said the roof rack on the Vibes was what made them look ugly. Now without them they think my car looks bad @$$.Here's a pic. I forgot I reformatted my computer so If you want to see better pictures of them visit my cardomain site in my signature. My baby doesn't look as sexy as Damron's yet because I still have the stock 16s

If you ABSOLUTELY have to get air bags, atleast get the ones that all go down at once so you're not tempted to drive with the front end up and rear down...Saw a '56 Bel Air with bags and I almost threw up all 487000 miles of my intestines and half of my left leg!!! I don't care for them as you can see but as long as they are not on muscle cars than I don't mind!Damron, did anyone ever figure out what size screws to use on the roof caps? Four of mine are not long enough to catch the threads in the rear So I just filled the holes with clear silicon until I figure something out.

I just have 2 bolts holding each cap down.

Hey, Merzbow and damronjr... regarding those SG caps...Would it be possible to shave off 1/16" - 1/8" off the bottom of the caps to make them more flush to the roof? I don't know how they're contoured, but if you have to prep the fiberglass anyway...

I tried that with the side skirts to get them to fit and was surprised how quickly it started making a hole!

lol good job!Yeah what he said. The caps are hollowed out with a layer of about 1/8 thick fiberglass walls. Good quality and durability but I dont think you could trim them THAT much.

here is a pic of the carbon fiber rk sport caps. I love them and have no problems so far with leaking. I capped the holes with vinyl first and then put the caps on. They look great and i get compliments all the time for them. makes the car look so much different.
