Hey it's AC so here's another question. I took my GT to a tranny shop and the guy quoted me for a LUK gold clutch which he said is the "standard" replacment. I asked if he could get me an RPS or a centerforce and he said there are only three clutch makers in the world and everyone else is just reboxing the clutches. He said the three were LUK, Daiken and I can't remember the thrid. So for those of you in the know please chime in and let me know if this is braindead or what.AC

Daikin is a division of Exedy. Daikin is locate in Canton, MI.I also know that my A.C.T. Clutch Disk say Exedy on it, but A.C.T. removes Exedys lining and put on there own.But I don't know how many companys make them.
Which ACT clutch do you have? I'm thinking of replacing mine with a beefier one. I'm not sure which one to go with, I like the 4 and 6 puck ones, but would like someone's input that has one. Thanks. J

I was going to go for the puck, but was scared away by a few people.I wen't with the HD SS and it's very agressive.anymore would be a major over kill.I chirp the tires alot upon engagement now.
Ah, I had thought about the SS but was concerned that if I ever turbo my vibe that it might not have the holding power that I need. Thanks for your input. I'm still kicking the idea around.
