I recieved the carbon fiber roof covers and they were in pretty decent shape, can't complain for $52.00. I installed them on thurday last week. But had really bad news when I got in my car on friday after work and after it had been raining all day, they hadn't made a complete seal and my seat was soaked, and the roof inside the car was also.
Another pick!! My car, I think, is going to be repainted in the spring time after I get the rest of my body parts, and I will have the bodyshop fix my screwup then.
Here is a up close pic of the sealant, looks really bad and was a total mess by the time I was finished, but the good news is it hasn't leaked since I redid the seal. It's going to have to work for winter!!
Sad to say, but they look a lot better fit than the Psychovibe Caps did. Might have to look into getting a set of those, especially if I can get a CF hood.

uh see i didnt have coffee today..yea side marker overlays....eyebows..(removed) am i thinkin.. o_0are they solid or sorta clear so the blinker can be seen?
They are a solid color but the light shows through, It is illegal in my state but (knock on wood) I have not been pulled over for them, and again I don't run around looking for cops anymore. Plus it helps we drive wagons!!!!HAHAHAHAHA
That does look nice! They are alot better of a fit than Psycho. I have the Psycho caps. The thing I like about Psycho caps is that they are thick and rugged and hollowed out instead of just a flat piece of material. I also don't know if I like how the RKSport caps have that flat strip of c/f that runs to the winshield and the fact that you need silicon.I'm curious as to how water got inside the car? I was driving around for a long time with my roof racks off and no caps on them yet. I'm asuming it leaked through the screw holes right? I filled hte holes with clear silicon until I got my caps...even withthe caps on now I re-filled the wholes with siliconand then screwed the screws into the threads for good measure. Perhaps you could do the same with your caps if they are coming from the screw holes.Drunken I'd hate to disagree but tint is overrated and doesnt seem to last very long Tint would be the last thing on my list to get. I still love you though Drunken. Now all you need is a shorty antenna so your Vibe doesn't look like a giant r/c car.
Semi-hijacking here...but does anyone sell unpainted/primed roofcaps? I'd like to keep the color scheme going (even if CF is close to black).I'm w/ Merzbow on this; I don't know about having to add sealant to finish up this job. It seems tricky at best.
I have the shorty in the middle glove box but it doesn't pick up the station I listen to so I removed it. I will be getting tint just not sure how long it will take. And It would have had to come throw the screw holes, and dumb me I didn't fill them with anything before I installed the covers. And I wasn't sure if I could get the same two sided tape that RK used. Like I said when I get it repainted I'll see if they body shop can repair my screw up and make them look a lot better!!
