We all know that the stock battery that comes with our Vibes are less than impressive, but I only drive my Vibe once a week and it always seems a little weak to start the engine over. Just wanted to check with everyone to see if they've run into that as well. And for a bit of background on why I only drive my Vibe once a week is because my new job provides me with a vehicle (Dodge Ram) and they cover fuel, insurance, & maintennance on it.

Sure the batteries are not the greatest or at least on the 03-04's. I have not ever had an issue with mine even in the cold but here is something you may want to check. Make sure your battery cables are tight at the battery...
Our stock batteries are terrible with recovering from parasitic loss. Even when your car is off, there's a load from the ECU, radio, alarm, etc. Combine those loads with the car sitting for a week with no way to charge and that would explain the hard starts.I would recommend getting a deep cycle battery for your situation. I personally have the Optima Yellow Top and it has never let me down. You could also look into getting a float charger. Those are pretty cheap alternative to getting a deep cycle battery.
