zup!I'm the new owner of a Vibe. My wife won it from her company "Mary Kay".I'm an active member of a Probe Club. I got a 93 Probe GT with a bunch of mods, but I won't be doing to much stuff to the vibe, I just want to find out the pros and cons of the car. This is a 2006 base model, the car is beautiful but the ATX sucks, I'm grateful that we don't have to pay anything for it, not even insurance, Mary Kay pays 80% of it we pay $23.00 only, but it fells weak.I don't know too much about this car but I want to learn more. Thanks, Alex.
welcome to genvibe. I had to jack up the courage to look at the pic, I was afraid it might be Mary Kay pink, but maybe they only do that to the Cadillacs. Sweet deal
I was looking foward to seeing a pink Vibe... Darn. Seriously, the Vibe is a great car. Gas milage is great and it is a blast to drive. It could use a little more power but it aint that bad. Welcome to the forums. Everyone here is very helpful. Any questions you have will surely be answered.
Monotone Neptune, pow pac, 17" stock rims, K&N air filter, bumper guard, custom pedels, brake light cover, billet oil cap
Thanks for the replays.Yeah! The only car u can get in pink is the cady, but the new color is sweet, it's a pearl color between silver and pick. They're giving the 2006 "silver" Pontiac Grand Prix too, but this is for another level.I'm looking forward to a new meet with all of ya', as I said before I'm an active member on the Probe/Mazda scene and we have meets every 3 months with around 10-15 cars and we just had an All Florida Meet with around 40 cars. (Probe, MX3, MX6, 626) they all share the same engine (KL03"V6/"KLFE"4banger"/KlZE"JSPEC"204hp)I know a lot about this cars, I've been working with them for around 7 years and have owned 4 GTs.Now that I have the Vibe I think is a Nice looking car but it needs some power, I'll probably put the CIA, Cat back and minor mods, but I know I wont be feeling the kick I feel on my Probe, plus my wife will be driving it more than me.Any advice will be good to get more power to it, but I do want to know if there are any problems I have to be aware of.Thanks.
well there is a florida vibe/matrix club. you may find more of them on matrixowners.com then here. at least they used to be pretty active, but don't see so many of them around anymore. not sure what happened.
Hey!!!!!I just posted a meet get together request on Friday and nooooo one has responded. Anyways, the Matrix/vibe Car club of Florida is no more. Chris ( Matrix owner) and I got too busy to run it and then some of the club members up north formed Toyotarevolutions.com. They accept Vibes in their club, but most of the Vibe and Matrix owners from back in the day, sold their cars for other Toyota vehicles. Anyhow, I'd love to get together with any vibe/matrix owners in the area. Maybe we can meet up at the Friday meet at Tower Shops. Let me know when yall wanna go and I'll make plans. -Juanito
