bye bye gas guzzer, lead me to AWD Vibe.

Post by tangerine »

Anyone know how low priced use say 03 or 04 AWD Vibes are going? My dad finally got it sunk into his head and agree'd with me that that 9mpg truck of ours has got to go. So that leaves me needing a winter vehicle since my Z won't be in for quite some time and there's no way I'm driving that car when it snows. I miss the Vibe and so do all of my friends so me and my dad are gonna sell the SS and split our money 50/50 and I hope to buy an AWD Vibe for winter and possibly trick out again. Finally got the at faults party to pay me what I spent on medical bills that I payed from my accident and start taking over responsibility which is a load off my shoulders and now I can put that money where it belongs, in my car. I have to see another surgeon tuesday because the MRI I had done 2 weeks ago came back showing that my #1 and #5 lumbar disks are bulging and I may have to have surgery to repair that, but everything else is fine. My arm is healing up better than expected and I am no longer urinating blood. Bare with me and I'll be back in the vibe family soon.

man that's crazy! i'd imagine you should be able to get a used one for about $13-16K depending on mileage and features.... good luck! and glad to have you back in the fold.

Uhh, does that truck have a warranty? Something must be wrong with it as you should be getting above that, at least 13-14 MPG city from what I have read. Even when operating at optimum efficiency, still crappy numbers but jesus, those things get like 380 pounds of twist, what more do you want?

I found an 05 carry over AWD neptune with moons/tunes, power package and 17" chromes for $17,400 that I'll likely try for. My dad has a business friend who wants to buy the SS to pull his boat to the lake who's gonna come look at it and hopefully buy it.

Glad to hear you're doing better and the other party is starting to take some responsibility. All good news Hope the back thing gets fixed without too much hassle.

I finally got released and told I can go back to work monday. The back specialist told me 4 weeks of physical therapy should help those two bulged disks, and if its not better when I see him again Nov. 8th we'll try something else. My credit mad sucks because my last 2 vehicles were financed in my dads name with me paying for it which in the long run hurt me worse then just having him cosign so financing the vibe went down the tubes , but we did sell the truck and I got my half of the money and hopefully with a few weeks of work now that I can go back I'll be able to buy that vibe outright, but I was thinking of paying all but like 5 grand and financing that part to build some credit. All is soon to be back to normal I tell ya.
