Actually, that's what we used to call a full sized station wagon. You know, the kind families of 6 to 8 would haul the kids around in.They'll deny it though. "Station Wagon" is supposedly a dirty word in the car biz.KSNeptune
Personally, I like both. I'm considering replacing my current 2002 Chrysler Voyager with Pacifica (depending on final pricing) when the lease is up in 2005.About quality, I disagree. Both this 2002 Voyager and the previous 1999 Voyager were problem free vehicles.
quote:Nova, you have only leased them, not owned.Oh, that's right. I forgot the car knows when it's leased and when it's owned. It only falls apart when I own the title.quote:If you owned the vehicles and put actual mileage on them, then I bet you would have problems.Put miles on it? Oh yeah, your right. I just lease it, make those monthy payments and keep it in the garage for 3 years. I guess actually driving it would cause it to fall apart. My bad.
The Audi Pikes Peak concept. Looks somewhat similar to the Pacifica. I would assume the price will be way out there if it ever goes into production. I saw this at NAIAS and it was pretty sharp.More info here.
Yeah, but tell me of any American car with 60,000-80,000 miles that doesn't have some problem in it's past. No car lasts forever and even Lexus, BMW and Mercedes cars breakdown.
Ok, I like this topic, so let's get back to it!Nova, that Dodge was at the NAIAS.. I didn't realize how low profile the body was until I saw it in person. Definately a sharp looker with the power to match.I snapped a few pics of the Audi as well.. it was presented very well and looked sharp. I'm sure with the 4wd in the Audi will make it a good performer.
Heather Proud vibe owner I'M DRIVING IT 'TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF! IT HAS SURVIVED ABUSE FROM A DUCK......A COYOTE...AN ARMADILLO...A HUGE DEER (NONE OF THEM WERE PETS EITHER ) ...AND A DAUGHTER....WHAT A CAR! 106K AND STILL GOING STRONG!!!!
Yeah, the Magnum is low. More wagon-like. The Pacifica, however, would be a nice alternative to the 2 minivans I've owned. It's still higher than a standard car (like our Vibes) but not so big as an SUV or minivan. My wife likes the high seating position of the minivan and the Vibe.
