Might get another new Vibe. What do you think?

Post by Stone »

Went to the dealer on the fourth and looking for a 2006 Vibe 4dr AWD 2sm26. They did not have one vibe on the lot but a 2003 and they want $15,000 for it. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! We be in JAckson Mississippi We left and the salesman called about a hour later and tells me they will order us one like we want for a $100.00 over cost. Yea RIGHT! We want just a base vibe AWD with auto air and the Preferred packade for $600.00 that be all. Salesman tells us that would cost us $21115.00 + Destination charge fo $560.00 + $21,675.00. This same Vibe sells for with out the Preferred packade for MSRP*: $21,015.00 from Pontiac web site. Who is trying to F### who? I figure $100.00 over cost would put it around maybe $17 to $17,500Fron the Pontiac web site. Thanks. BTW What do you people think about the 2003 for $15,000? LMAOROTF!!! One more thing...... We have a base 2004 vibe in real, real good condition 50,000 miles. never been in the shop, never! It has been taken real good care of. How can we find out what this be worth for a trade in for the new one other than the dealer telling us it not be worth any thing?

$15,000 for a 2003.... I would not go for that. Car dealers make there money on used cars. I bet they gave $8,000 for that car.

15k sounds way too high for a 2003.See them listed around Detroit for 13-14.I almost got a 2004 with only 6200 miles for 14k.Boy....I've been looking at 2006's and find it hard to believe they are going to get around 20k for a Vibe.I'm betting we will see some heavy rebates in the months ahead.

if that 03 has like 1 mile on it and fully loaded maybe my 04 was only 12500. how did they vibe get so freaking expensive? i though it was suppose to be a good cheap car like around 15-18k or something, then i see 22k?? that just seems like a lot, the focus is way cheaper
