NHL 2005-2006 Season starts tonight!

Finally, some hockey to watch again! Some of the rule changes are good, but I think some will drive me nuts. I still haven't got to look over all the changes yet, but I'll have to see how they affect the play of the game.30 NHL teams play tonight. Full schedules, rosters, all info at:http://www.nhl.comYAY! WOOHOO, I will be planted in front of my TV, I ordered the Center Ice package so I will be watching LOTS of hockey.I have Pens season tickets and went to the 2 home preseason games, the rule changes are great, they really change the game for the better.Oh yeah, GO PENS.......and Flames.......and Thrashers.

Yeah, I'm a displaced native Detroiter! Born and raised there. Funny thing is... I'm 20 minutes from Chicago now, and the Blackhawks SUCK! I'll always be a fan of my hometown team.... Wooohooo... GO WINGS!To bad I can't watch their games though They don't televise much hockey in these parts. I only get to see it if it's on ESPN.

well I caught the tail end of the Toronto and Ottawa game... ottawa won in the tie breaker shootout... defeating the Leafs on their own ice... ouch. I can hear my brother swearing... well it might have been me.

(removed)?The first hockey games in two years and they don't even televise any here. ESPN had Baseball, ESPN 2 had some crappy (removed) football game on, WGN and Fox sports had god knows what on. I probably would not have watched it anyway because Lost and Invasion were also on, but gimmie a break.
