Has anyone painted the black parts of the roof rack the body color?

I been thinking of painting the black parts of the roof rack the body color. I sure would like to see pictures of a car done like that if one exsits. Perhaps someone could photoshop a salsa one for me. Thanks.

i want to do this too. been too lazy to do it.if you end up doing it. make sure you get the right color, and clear coat the hell out of it. from my experiences with painting before. do it in a clean ventilated room. all that crap in the air will mess up your job.

Well I would have a professional painter do it. I have a set of factory ground effects that I am getting painted as well. I figured I would send a roof rack along to be painted as well. Has anyone removed the complete roof rack from their Vibe and choose to sell it? I would rather paint a spare one so I can drive a normal looking Vibe until all the painting is done.
